Preston Forest Shopping Center, owned by Stockdale Investment Group, is a 200,000-square-foot shopping center anchored by Whole Foods Market in Preston Hollow, a sought-after residential neighborhood in Dallas. It has been serving the North Dallas community for decades and continues to expand with new shopping and dining options each year.

While The Nix Company had already established a strategic social media presence with strong photography and messaging for Preston Forest, the client wanted to explore additional strategies to share the news of the exciting tenants that had joined the shopping center.

With the client's goal in mind, we knew the most effective strategy was to leverage the power of influencer marketing. Our team got busy developing an influencer marketing strategy that would effectively share the news of the exciting new tenants at Preston Forest and generate buzz and excitement around the shopping center.
First, our team focused our efforts on sourcing local influencers who have a strong following in the Dallas area and landed on @Dallasites101 as the partner for this campaign.
We knew Dallasites101 is known for creating authentic content that resonates with its followers and that they have a similar audience to Preston Forest's target market, which would help them reach potential customers more effectively.
The second piece of the campaign was to increase followers and drive engagement on Preston Forest's Instagram account. To do this, the strategy included making the partnership with Dallasites101 a giveaway with following @prestonforestdallas as a requirement to enter.
