Role Overview:

The Nix Company is looking for a Content Manager to join our growing team. This is a highly collaborative role that blends creativity, strategy, and execution to bring our clients' brands to life across social media and digital marketing.

You'll work with a variety of clients across the restaurant, hospitality, retail, and CPG industries, helping create content that captures attention and drives results. From brainstorming creative concepts and leading content shoots to producing polished digital content, no two days are exactly alike.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media accounts from planning through publishing, ensuring content is on-brand, on time, and aligned with each client's goals.

  • Own the creative direction of your accounts by bringing fresh ideas and engaging content concepts to the table.

  • Lead content shoots from planning to final edit, producing engaging photo and video content for social media.

  • Design eye-catching graphics for social media, email campaigns, digital ads, and other marketing materials.

  • Build visually engaging, on-brand email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with teammates, clients, and creative partners to bring campaigns to life.

  • Own your accounts by managing timelines, approvals, revisions, and deliverables while keeping projects on track.

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content styles to keep our clients' brands fresh and relevant.

  • Help uphold The Nix Company's creative standards by reviewing content, providing thoughtful feedback, and supporting interns and teammates as they grow.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You appreciate a good aesthetic and can't resist a beautifully curated social feed.

  • Your phone is full of content ideas, and there's a good chance you never leave home without a camera (film, digital, or both).

  • You have a knack for capturing what makes a brand unique and turning it into content people actually want to engage with.

  • You're equally comfortable filming, editing, designing, and publishing content.

  • You take ownership of your work and keep projects, deadlines, and revisions organized without being reminded.

  • You communicate proactively and aren't afraid to ask questions or share ideas.

  • You love collaborating, brainstorming, and believe the best creative work happens as a team.

  • You have a high creative standard and a sharp eye for the details that elevate good content into great content.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, social media, graphic design, or a similar role.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing social content, graphic design, and short-form video. (Portfolio required.)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is a plus.

  • Experience creating and editing short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

  • Experience managing social media accounts from planning through publishing.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling.

  • Experience creating social graphics, email campaigns, and other digital marketing assets. Familiarity with platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Hours:

This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Dallas office. Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience, skills, and portfolio.

Our team works Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with occasional content shoots or events outside of the typical workday. We believe in working hard, collaborating often, and having fun while we do it. (And yes, we love a good Summer Friday.)
