Role Overview:
The Nix Company is seeking a Social Media Manager with a strong foundation in social media. This is a fast-paced, dynamic agency role where no two days look the same. We’re looking for someone who is not only organized and strategic but genuinely excited about content, culture, and bringing brands to life in meaningful ways.

Position: Social Media Manager
Location:
Dallas, Texas
Salary Range: $50-60K

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day social media strategy and execution across multiple local and national client accounts

  • Develop and manage content calendars aligned with campaign and business goals

  • Concept, create, and oversee high-quality content  

  • Own caption writing and ensure a consistent, on-brand voice across all platforms

  • Maintain and enforce brand standards, ensuring all content aligns with client guidelines

  • Analyze performance, prepare monthly reports, and proactively identify opportunities for growth

  • Partner closely with internal design, content, and account teams to bring campaigns to life

  • Manage community engagement, including comments, DMs, and reputation monitoring

  • Stay ahead of social trends, tools, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant

  • Contribute to creative brainstorms and campaign ideation

  • Attend and support client shoots, activations, and key events for content capture

  • Support client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness

  • Successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment while maintaining high standards of quality, organization, and follow-through

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of social media experience (agency or brand experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong copywriting skills and a clear eye for creative direction

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in client-facing interactions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred

  • Demonstrated passion for social media and content creation, with a strong portfolio of work

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities and deadlines with precision

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

  • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset

  • Receptive to feedback with a desire for continuous growth

  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-through
