Role Overview:

The Nix Company is seeking a Social Media Manager who’s ready to take the next step in their marketing career. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on social media experience who’s confident leading client accounts, managing content calendars, and collaborating with our creative team to bring brands to life online.

You’ll work directly with a range of lifestyle, retail, and hospitality clients, crafting strategies, creating content, and helping grow each brand’s digital presence. This is a dynamic, fast-paced agency role where every day is different, and creativity is key!

Position: Social Media Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day social media strategies and content calendars for multiple client accounts.

  • Create and oversee engaging content (Reels, graphics, TikToks, photography, and copywriting) that aligns with client goals and brand identity.

  • Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all social media channels, ensuring content adheres to clients’ brand guidelines and values.

  • Write, edit, and review captions that reflect brand voice and drive engagement.

  • Monitor analytics, prepare monthly reports, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Lead client calls and check-ins, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts.

  • Coordinate with our design and photo teams to ensure visual consistency and quality.

  • Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and emerging tools to keep client content fresh and relevant.

  • Support community management efforts, including engagement, DMs, and reputation monitoring.

  • Contribute ideas to team brainstorms and campaign development.

  • Attend occasional client shoots and on-site activations.

  • Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure social media initiatives are fully aligned with broader marketing strategies and business goals.

  • Attend key client events for strategic live social media coverage and oversee on-site content creation. 

  • Provide high-level client support, addressing inquiries and concerns, and building strong, long-term client relationships.

  • Effectively manage the dynamic environment of “agency life,” meeting client deadlines, creating top-tier content, and fostering a collaborative and enjoyable work culture.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of social media experience (agency experience strongly preferred).

  • Proven track record managing brand accounts and producing quality content.

  • Strong copywriting and creative direction skills.

  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.

  • Deep passion and expertise in social media and content creation, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and advanced analytics platforms.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with precision.

  • Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of the role.
